Dr. Airaina G. Knight, a licensed cosmetologist and trichologist, wanted to expand her business, and begin offering loctician services. Locticians help people grow dreadlocks safely, fast, and effectively, by offering tailored hair care. Airaina saw the need for services here in Fayetteville and created Locks House Inc.
The Women’s Business Center provided assistance with Airaina’s business plan, marketing, one on one counseling, and radio promotion. Airaina provides her clients with multi-cultural, transcontinental perspectives on hair care. She wants to own and operate a chain throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennesse.
Airaina has created three different job positions, and is looking to hire more people and continue to expand.
