Danice Langdon

Danice Langdon became a member of The Women’s Business Center of CEED in February 2022. She recently took advantage of an early retirement offer from BB&T and left Banking after 17 years. The last 16 years she was in the Spring Lake branch. She worked with her clients and small business owners to help them achieve their financial goals and dreams. Each day was different, but one thing remained constant, “each day I got the chance to make a difference in someone’s life.”. I built lasting relationships with clients, teammates, and local community members.

Danice earned an A.S. in Accounting at a Community College back home, her B.S. Degree in Business Administration and her M.A. in Sociology from Fayetteville State University. Her Thesis is on “Gender Wage Gap and Its Associated Factors: An Examination Of Traditional Gender Ideology, Education and Workplace.” Her work is also published in the International Review of Modern Sociology, Autumn of 2013.

She is passionate about being involved in the community. She serves on the board at the Armed Forces YMCA, Fort Bragg and is a founding member of the local Non-Profit Community Heartbeats. She tries to live each day using the motto, “To Those Much Is Given, Much Is Expected.”

Danice Langdon grew up in small town about 25 miles outside of Pittsburgh. She loves sports and is passionate about her Pittsburgh Teams. She has 1 son.
