Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Chef Nadia Minniti wanted to bring her Italian style to Fayetteville, with an emphasis on farm-to-table continuum. She attended NC State where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Gastronomy, the art of choosing, cooking, and eating good food. With a developed palate based on her upbringing and travels around the world as a tour guide and travel agent, Nadia brought her talents to Fayetteville and opened Gusto Napoletano. Gusto Napoletano is a restaurant specializing in Neapolitan pizza, emphasizing health and farm-to-table ingredients.
Nadia turned to the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville for support in building her confidence level. She moved to Fayetteville with her fiancée that passed away last November, and after a workplace injury and her personal loss, she lost confidence in her skills and ability. The Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville helped her channel that confidence, as well as her knowledge from 26 years of food service, and find her ground here in Fayetteville.
Gusto Napoletano is a current storefront on Raeford Road, and Nadia hopes people will continue to support small businesses here in the community.
