NextHome Integrity

NextHome is a progressive real estate franchise with consumer focused technology and marketing. NextHome specializes in residential sales, including single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and residential investment properties. The Fayetteville NextHome office currently employs 6 broker associates, along with Owner and Broker Michelle Morris.

Michelle has over 20 years of real estate experience and has been serving the Fayetteville area as a real estate broker since 2001. Prior to becoming a broker, she owned and operated a mortgage lending company. Michelle said,

I have always been passionate about real estate and investing, and am excited to be here in my hometown of Fayetteville, helping individuals become homeowners.”

Michelle got her start in Fayetteville partnering with her mother to open a finance company, which they successfully operated for 15 years. After entering the Real Estate business, and owning another franchise, Michelle and her husband Tom decided to purchase a franchise of NextHome in 2016, at the start of the company. Michelle was drawn to NextHome because it is very customer-focused and marketing-centric.

Family and Fayetteville are two of the most important things to Michelle. She is excited to be operating in what was the former North Carolina National Bank, where her mother got her start in finance. With her father, husband, and son all serving in the military, Fort Bragg also holds a special place in her heart. Michelle now employs her son, one of her three children, as one of the real estate brokers. Michelle and her family intend for their NextHome franchise and location in downtown Fayetteville to be a boutique real estate agency, with a small and home-y feeling.

Since the ribbon cutting at the downtown Fayetteville location, Michelle reports business has been the best it’s ever been. The location at 337 Hay Street provides lots of foot traffic and networking opportunities for Michelle and her team. 2020 was the best year she’s had since opening in Fayetteville, even despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Business continues to boom and Michelle has loved being able to do networking events and community partnerships with downtown organizations such as The Women’s Business Center and The Fayetteville Downtown Alliance.

The Women’s Business Center helped NextHome by doing the ribbon-cutting event in November of 2020. In addition to the ribbon-cutting services, we continue to support and provide networking opportunities for Michelle. She holds events to show her appreciation for the community and her clients and hopes to continue to be active in the downtown Fayetteville community that means so much to her.

Michelle is passionate about women in business and hopes to continue to grow her role in the community as an icon and support for women in business. She’s celebrated so many successes here, and we continue to celebrate her and her success now and in the years to come.
