Dr. Joy Smith-Jones alongside the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville cut the ribbon for her grand re-opening Friday, January 22nd. Known to her patients as Dr. Joy, she had been practicing alongside other chiropractors for years, before deciding to open her own clinic in August of 2019.
Gray’s Creek Chiropractic & Wellness is a beautiful, welcoming clinic with rooms for acupuncture, adjustments, rehab, weight loss therapies, and general physicals. Dr. Joy caters to each treatment to meet every person’s unique needs. She is committed to helping every individual meet their goals so that they can improve their overall health and wellbeing – meeting her patient’s goals are HER goals.
Dr. Joy said,
“This is something I’ve thought and prayed about for a very long time, and now it is reality, with the support of my parents, my sister, my husband by my side, and my kids watching.”
Gray’s Creek Chiropractic & Wellness offers chiropractic care for the whole family, as well as physiotherapies, dry needling, cupping, and active rehabilitation to get you and your family feeling the best. Dr. Joy hopes to continue to serve her community with the services she provides, saying “I want to show Fayetteville there is a better way. A better way to feel, and a better way to move.” Her team considers patients as an extension of their family, and feel proud that they can continue to uplift them and help them reach their goals.
Dr. Joy has always been passionate about serving and helping others and knew since she was a sophomore in high school that wellness was her calling. After treating patients here in the Fayetteville area for the past 13 years, Dr. Joy decided to fulfill her ultimate dream and open Gray’s Creek Chiropractic & Wellness Center and Elite Weight Loss Center to continue to serve the great people of Hope Mills and Fayetteville.
Looking for assistance on how to get started, Dr. Joy Smith – Jones reached out to the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville for help starting her business through the loan program. The Women’s Business Center was able to counsel her on her finances and put her in contact with a local bank to get funding for her start-up. Along with financial counseling, we also provided her with business counseling, marketing guidance, and of course – ribbon cutting services. We are so proud to see her succeed at her goals, and will continue to support her wherever this journey takes her!
